Process Planning
Global context : Personal and cultural expressions.
In order to create a successful product (Painting) I researched different aspects of nature and different techniques used to make a painting. First step to create the product was to research different techniques and materials that can be used to make different elements of nature. Then I researched different aspects of nature and what each element represents. I brainstormed ideas and made a list of materials that would be needed to make the painting.
I did an interview with a professional artist and he helped with different techniques and what type of material is used to add effects in the painting.

Process Planning
The big challenge was to be able to represent each element of nature clearly on a large canvas 120 cm by 140 cm. Adding effects and creating each element with different types of brush and strokes was a bit hard. The painting looked incomplete, so I extended the mountains and the waterfall. I also added more clouds. The reason behind extending elements or adding more was that each element is very clearly visible for the audience and each element stands out more equally.

Motivation/ Personal interest
Paintings are one of my great interests and I enjoy painting. It is a way for me to relax because I think it is one of the best ways to express yourself and your ideas in an abstract/unique way. Since I love doing painting so I chose it as my Personal project. To make it more challenging I chose to do it on a large canvas (120 by 140 cm). I have never made a painting on such a large canvas so I thought it would be challenging.Â
I already knew some techniques and styles but I believe there is no limit in learning painting techniques. They are way more things you can learn and they keep adding on to it. Nature is one of the themes that has the most unique and different style of painting involved. It is one of the challenging topics to make a painting of. I chose nature as a topic because I thought it will be the best way for me to express my ideas and my view of nature and I will learn a lot more in this topic.
Action Taking
First step was researching different styles/ techniques and aspects of nature.Â
Second step was to bring all the research together and brainstorming ideas. Asking for feedback and then creating a final design for your product.Â
Another important step is to try out things. In painting you need to do experiments with colors, brushes etc. I experimented a lot with these which helped create a better product.
